I took the kids out to Lark Ranch last Sunday for some fall fun! We had a blast. They had everything from a bounce house to a huge slide, a hayride and pony rides, barnyarn animals and pumpkin patch. Whew! We were exhausted, but thrilled with our afternoon adventure.
Trying to get three kids to look at the camera, smile and look good all at the same time is next to impossible (just trying to get them to sit still is a major feat). Here is the best shot of the bunch.
The pony ride is what Ellie and Will REALLY wanted to do. Both say that horses are their favorite animal. Will got to ride a pony named Sally.

Ellie and Will "drove" a tractor and then went down the slide in the back.
Here is a picture of that HUGE slide. You walked all the way to the top, and then grabbed a burlap sack to sit on as you slid all the way down. Ellie loved it from the first moment. Will took one turn and was done. Though he bravely went down again before we went home.
We have been very fortunate to have some amazing fall weather. It has been so much fun to go explore all the farms. We also went to Kelsay Farm (south of Indianapolis) which is a working dairy farm. They milk 500 cows 3 times a day! It was another great day (somehow we didn't capture pictures of that adventure)
