We all had a great time on our third annual vacation to Philadelphia. We got to visit with family, go play in the enchanted woods at Winterthur, visit the zoo, and go swimming. Ellie and Will had a blast swimming in Aunt Mary and Uncle Dennis' pool - however, pools and cameras don't mix, so there are no photos. They both LOVED jumping into the water from the side of the pool.

What a difference a year makes! Last year, Will wanted nothing to do with the pony rides, this year he couldn't wait to have a pony ride. What a big boy!
Ellie and Will were brave and tried new things. Below they pet a goat at the children's zoo.
A highlight of our day at the zoo, was the train ride. Ellie and Will remembered this from last year and were so excited to ride the train by themselves. It was even better when the yellow train car was available for them.

We all had a great time. The kids were very excited to go to school and tell their friends all about their vacation. They were even troopers on the 11+ hour car rides. They can't wait until our next vacation (although they are in no hurry to spend all day in the car again).
